Tyronza, AR

On Sunday, October 20, Tyronza, AR was struck by an EF-1 tornado affecting a large portion of the community. Eighty-four homes and businesses were damaged in its wake.

Volunteers from Tri-county, Beckspur, Central Jonesboro and Corner’s Chapel responded the next day, providing chainsaw support for clean up efforts and food for those impacted by the storms.

Northwest Arkansas

The same storms that affected Tyronza also generated an EF-2 tornado in Northwest Arkansas causing damage to homes and businesses in Siloam Springs and Rogers

Disaster Relief chainsaw teams from Northwest Association, First Clarksville, and Faulkner Association jumped into action Monday and have begun the assessment of homes in order to begin the recovery process.

These teams in both Tyronza and Northwest Arkansas have worked tirelessly throughout the week to help get homeowners back into their homes. There have been countless opportunities for these volunteers to listen to the survivors as they process their situations as well as to share the Gospel with those who have not heard.
