UPDATE
Flood recovery along the Arkansas River is ongoing, but another disaster occurred recently. Over the weekend, severe straight-line winds went through Northern Arkansas and affected Camp Siloam in a big way. They had 30 trees down, some very large, that they needed to be taken care of as quickly as possible – as they were expecting 790 campers today.
Disaster Relief deployed three chainsaw teams very quickly, which were able to help clear and make the camp functional today by 1 p.m., just in time for campers to show up.
