Daily Update: New Deployments in Southern Arkansas

UPDATE

As we continue to help with flood recovery on the river, most of you know that on the evening of June 19 we had straight-line winds across the southern portion of the state. At one time, nearly 70,000 residents were without power. Your Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief teams are stepping up in those communities that were impacted by the storms.

We have teams out beginning assessments across the southern portion of the state. With the flooding and storm damage, we will continue to monitor and deploy teams where needed. Currently, we have 4 chainsaw teams deployed across South Arkansas doing assessments and clean up.

We are bringing help, healing and hope to all those affected.
