Round one of three severe weather events forecast for this week swept through the River Valley and North Central Arkansas last night, Monday, April 11. Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers were ready to respond. The First Baptist Clarkesville Chainsaw Unit was sent to Scranton, Arkansas to work on tree removals.
The Red River Baptist Association Feeding Unit and other Recovery Units are on standby as more severe weather is expected to move-in Tuesday afternoon/evening and Wednesday. Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief stands ready to help wherever they may be needed.
Pray for the safety of communities that could find themselves in the paths of these storms.
Pray for volunteers who have already been sent out to help and minister to those impacted.
Pray for meteorologists as they stand ready to inform and track any possible weather over the next two days.
